Tired of Online Idiots?

Me on the left, circa: NO CLUE

I don’t know about you, but my feathers used to get ruffled daily by online idiots. My biggest challengers were the conspiracy theorists, polarizing political pot stirrers, haters, meanies, bullies, and all around “negative-Nancy’s”.

Then I realized — I have a super-skill!! As a young’un, I discovered an invaluable technique that has positively impacted my life. It’s so easy, I bet you can get it on the first try!! Let’s give it a shot…

Step One: start singing “la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la” continuously [not in a soprano voice, deeper — more of an alto, or tenor]

Step Two: with both hands held at jaw level, make the “#1” sign

Step Three: using both hands, with your “#1” sign, carefully push in the soft part of your ear [specialists call this your tragus], and block your ear canal. You will know “when”, when it sounds like a tunnel, or echo

Step Four: close your eyes

PRO TIP: squeeze your eyes tightly shut, and scrunch your nose

You did it!!

So — anytime that four year-old Stephanie did not want to hear, or see something, voila. While you may still see me using this technique today [i.e. scary movie], I have adapted it to the socially acceptable “swipe and scroll” technique.
